Abstract
126,115. Lund, C. W. April 26, 1918. Whistles.-In a whistle for automobiles, boats, &c., the size of the fluid chamber of the whistle is varied simultaneously with the movement of the piston of the pump supplying the operating fluid. In the construction shown, the whistle tube 3 is mounted directly on the pump 1 and provided with a piston 9 connected to the piston 6 of the pump operated by the hand-lever 10 or other means. The compressed fluid passes from both sides of the piston through a pipe 17 to the whistle mouth 4.
