A clutch disc fitted with the normal circumferential helical springs 11 is also provided with hub friction damping members 20, 21 axially loaded by a disc spring 22 mounted internally of the cover-plate 9 and provided with radial arms 23 of which some are formed with rounded fork ends 24 engaging the rivets 8 connecting the clutch plate 7 and cover-plate 9. The arms may be bent so that the forks 24 bear against flange shoulders on the rivets 8, Fig. 3 (not shown).
