[Also in Division H1] Means for manipulating index strips in an index strip holder described and claimed in the parentSpecification (see Division B6) comprises a pointed elongated ridged insertion. member 40 for inserting beneath the strips in the holder and an elongated holding member 46 which is magnetically attracted to the insert member and which can be placed above the insert member as shown to grip index strips 20 therebetween. The insert member 40 is of iron or steel, and the holding member 46 includes flexible magnetised rubber or plastics material bars 48 and an elongated strip of flexible plastics material 50 stuck to each bar.
