Abstract
1,252,983. Tights. BEGY SOC. EUROPEENNE DE BAS SANS COUTURE. 7 March, 1969 [12 March, 1968], No. 12244/69. Heading A3V. A pair of tights comprise two stockings 10, 11 joined to a pantie portion 12 having an adjustable waistband 13 and at least one cut away area 26. The edge of the U-shaped cut away area may be provided with an elastic band or braid 20. The waistband, which may be sewn to the pantie forming part 12 and which is preferably elastic, may have its length adjusted by button 14 and button holes 15; hooks, snap fasteners and the like may also be used. Tow cut away areas at the sides of the garment may replace area 26, (21) Fig. 2 (not shown).
