1,252,539. Shelving. K. L. OHLSON. June 9, 1970 [June 16, 1969], No. 27872/70. Heading A4B. [Also in Division B6] A suspension filing cabinet shelf assembly comprises a set of uprights 1...4, Fig. 1, provided with longitudinally spaced apertures 3a, 4a serving for adjustable and releasable mounting of superposed shelves 5 each provided with a pair of opposite downwardly depending flanges 59 having apertures 59a, Fig. 3, in which are locatedresilient shelf supporting members 58 one shank of which engages in the apertures 3a, 4a. In a modification one shank of the members 58, Fig. 4, is welded to the inner face of the flanges 59 and the other shank is resiliently deformable for co-operation with the apertures 59a. In a further embodiment in which the shelves are made of wood, two shelves are provided with respective blind bores and one of two shanks is provided with a barb which is anchored in the blind bore wall Fig. 6 (not shown).
