1,248,816. Stretcher poles. H. STOLLENWERK. 27 May, 1969 [4 June, 1968], No. 26772/69. Heading ASX. [Also in Division F2] A hollow stretcher carrying pole of reinforced synthetic plastics material such as polyester resin or polyamide reinforced with glass fibres, has a plurality of longitudinal inwardly or outwardly directed ribs 1. The ribs are hollow and disposed internally or externally for the full length of the pole. The pole is circular, triangular or rectangular in cross section and the ribs may be used as guides or attachments for stretcher canvas, stretcher feet, or sledge runners.
