1,247,633. Dye-image stabilizing of photographic colour prints. FUJI PHOTO FILM CO. Ltd. March 19, 1970 [March 19, 1969], No. 13269/70. Heading G2C. The dye-image in processed photographic colour printing papers is stabilized by treatment of the papers in a bath comprising an aqueous solution of a water-soluble aluminium salt (e. g. potassium or ammonium alum or aluminium sulphate), a poly-carboxylic acid or salt (e. g. citrate, tartrate) and benzoic acid or a salt thereof. A zinc salt (e. g. acetate, bromide, chloride, nitrate or sulphate) and boric acid or a salt thereof may also be present.
