1,246,500. Knitting. RIDLEY, SPRIGGS & JOHNSON Ltd. and M. R. JOHNSON. 25 Sept., 1969 [29 June, 1968], No. 56457/70. Divided out of 1,246,499. Heading D1K. Swim suits, bras or dresses are knitted circularly and breast cups are formed by knitting part courses and floating the remainder of the yarns by miss-knitting, the shaping being produced without the presence of elastomeric inlay yarn. The swim suit shown is knitted circularly, the dotted parts including miss-stitch floats formed to produce the necessary shaping. The garment may be of wool, crepes or elastomerics. Specification 1,246,499 is referred to.
