Abstract

1,237,131. Stockings. M. B. NEBEL and E. M. NEBEL. 6 Sept., 1968 [4 Oct., 1967], No. 42614/68. Heading A3V. [Also in Division D1] A turned welt has rubber or other elastic threads F incorporated in a float plated relationship such that the float portions are exposed on the inside of the garment and contact the wearer. In the case of a stocking the turned welt acts as a self support. To stop the top from curling downwards there may be a gap Z devoid of the elastic threads F which are incorporated at the top and lower down the welt.
