Abstract
1,244,747. Universal Joints. GOETZEWERKE FRIEDRICH GOETZE A.G. 25 Nov., 1968 [24 Nov., 1967], No. 55861/68. Heading F2U. In a resilient coupling for connecting a clutch plate 1 to a hub 2, wherein radially prestressed rubber blocks 4 are bonded between metal blocks 5 riveted to the plate 1 and arms 3 fast with the hub 2, the periphery of the blocks 5 facing the hub have an arcuate section. The arcuate section preferably forms part of a circle. Recesses (8) may be provided in the rubber blocks 4 to increase circumferential resilience.
