A vibration damper for a clutch plate comprises prestressed rubber elements 7 between radial arms 6, 8 formed on a hub 1 and in a housing 3 fast with the clutch plate. The arms 8 are formed by metal plates having projections entering slots in the housing, and are vulcanized to the rubber elements. Resilient synthetic members 14 are provided between the ends of the arms 6 and the periphery of the housing 3, the members 14 either being vulcanized to the elements 7 or being formed to provide a positive connection with the arms of the hub.
