In a clutch plate comprising a driving plate 3 clamped to a flange 2 on a hub 1 by plates 5, 6 formed with shrouds 11 for cushioning springs 10, vibration-damping friction washers 12, 13 located on either side of the flange 2 are loaded by a star-shaped spring plate 14 between washer 13 and plate 6, the outer ends 16 of the arms 15 of plate 14 being bent over into engagement with slots 17 in the plate 6.
