A connector fitting comprises a tubular body portion with threaded end portions 16, 18, and an intermediate portion of lesser wall thickness, the outside diameter of the threaded end portions being larger than the outside diameter of the intermediate portion, the intermediate portion having an opposed pair of spanner flats 30. The embodiment shown comprises a teepiece of lightweight material such as aluminium alloy.
