Abstract

1,240,495. Containers for mushrooms. BOWATER PACKAGING Ltd. 13 Nov., 1969 [15 Nov., 1968], No. 54241/68. Heading B8P. A fibreboard container for mushrooms has double-layered end walls between which the end flaps of a separate lid are inserted, each outer end wall layer having an aperture 41 through which identification markings on the lid flap are visible. The container comprises a base (1) to which are hinged inwardly inclined side wall panels 3, 5 and inner end wall panels 11, 13, the outer end wall layers each comprising panels 19, 23 hinged to the ends of the side wall panels 3, 5 and interlocking by means of a slit 27 in panel 19 and a slot 29 and flap 28 of panel 23. Top flaps 31, 35 may be hinged to the side wall panels 3, 5 and end wall panels 11, 13 respectively. Ventilation holes 39 may be provided in all the side wall and end wall panels.
