Abstract

1,236,139. Anti-seize grease. K. S BERGERON. 3 Sept., 1969 [6 Jan., 1969], No. 43629/69. Heading C5F. An anti-seize grease comprises by weight: at least 2% fish oil-based lead soap, at least 0À5% sulphur modified sperm oil, 5-90% Cu metal and a base lubricant in amount at least 4% and sufficient to make 100% total. Optional components are powdered lead and amorphous graphite each in amount 5-30% by wt. The base lubricant may be a mineral or synthetic oil, such as polybutyne, polyisobutene or dioctyladipate, containing Al, Ba, Li, Na or complex Ca soaps or lampblack or clay. The sperm oil may be sulphurized or sulphonated. The mineral oil base may contain brightstocks.
