Abstract

1,236,083. Roof structure. FREDERICK BRABY & CO. Ltd. 18 April, 1969 [19 April, 1968], No. 18526/68. Headings E1A and E1W. The roof, e.g. of a petrol station shelter, comprises corrugated sheeting (e.g. of the type in Specification 1,090,597) which corrugations run normal to the sheet support beams and which sheet -is provided with drain holes at or adjacent the beams. As shown aluminium sheet 13 is fixed to beam 3 by the combination of a nut and bolt and a bridge member 17 seating across the lowermost part of the valley of corrugation and is spaced from the beam by rubber saddles 11, the sheet and saddle being provided with a slot through which the bolt passes and which serves as the drainage hole. The beams and main column 2 are tubular steel, the beam being connected by spigot joint to the column and the water drains through beam 3 and column 2 to drain 27.
