Abstract

1369481 Roofed structures SKERNE ENG Co Ltd 3 Nov 1972 [3 Nov 1971] 51202/71 Heading E1A A roofed structure such as a canopy for a petrol filling station forecourt comprises at least one column 12 or 13, a spine girder 11 carried thereby and a plurality of rafters 14, 15, 16, 17 extending transversely through and supported on the spine girder which is in the form of an open trellis structure. The structure is provided with ceiling panels, a facia board 20 and roofing panels 19 which may be corrugated and direct storm water into gutters 40 on either side of the spine girder 11; the girder 11 being protected by a capping panel 41 and the gutters discharging through drain pipes 26 arranged in the columns 12, 13.
