Abstract

1,234,386. Balanced flues. SANTON Ltd. 14 April, 1969 [31 Jan., 1968], No. 4961/68. Heading F4J. A detachable wall mounting for a balanced flue 1 comprises a base-plate 2 provided with an annular flange 11 and a resilient annular seal 12 for engagement with the exterior of said wall 13, and a dished plate 3 provided with a rim flange 4 which is secured by screws 4a to the base-plate 2, said plate 3 being integral with a partition 6 which defines passageways 7 and 8 for air and combustion gas respectively between pipes 16 and 17 in the wall and the respective inlet and outlet apertures 9 and 10 in the plate 3. The flue includes holes 22 through which condensate formed in the passageway 8 can escape.
