[Also in Division G2] A camera bellows is formed by vacuum or pressure moulding a continuous sheet 40 of thermoplastic material around a male mould 38 having the shape of the bellows in the expanded position. Vacuum is applied through a central opening 44 and the separable pieces 41, 42, 43 &c. of the mould. The thermoplastic material may be a copolymer of low density polyethylene and either vinyl acetate or acrylonitrile. After removing the bellows from the mould it may be moved to its collapsed position, heated and cooled.
