Detachable-rim attachments to wheels.-A detachable rim, or a pair of rims side by side, fitted with spaced lugs 3, or formed with integral flanges 14, is secured to the wheel by fixed and detachable side rings 6, 9 or segments 20, 21. Where lugs 3 are employed, the side clamps may be formed with recesses to receive the lugs to prevent creeping. In the case of twin rims, the intermediate spacing-ring may be continuous or in the form of segments 26 secured to a split ring 29.
