Abstract

123,059. Delas, A. Feb. 4, 1918, [Convention date]. Aspirating -apparatus, ejector.-An ejector with a high compression ratio has a circulating water bath d fitted round the convergent portion of the diffuser. When, owing to increased pressure at the delivery end of the ejector, the steam jet spreads so that a portion strikes against the converging wall of the diffuser, the latter portion is immediately condensed, thus automatically leaving the exact quantity of steam necessary to maintain the ejector action under any conditions.
