1,229,604. Operating tables. STIERLENWERKE A.G. 27 May, 1968 [27 May, 1967], No. 25146/68. Heading A4G. Push buttons or a crank handle 31 and a gear selection lever 32 for controlling the movements of the parts of an operating table are located at the outer end of an arm 3 which is pivoted about a vertical axis A. The table top comprises two plates 12, 13 hinged to a central plate 11 and can tilt about both a horizontal and a transverse axis and can be adjusted in height. The gear selection lever 32 may be replaced by several crank handles connected by their own shafts to the different gears. In a modification (Figs. 3, 4) the controls are push buttons (33) and are mounted on the outer ends of two pivoted arms (3, 3<1>).
