Abstract
122,851. Quet, F. Jan. 28, 1918, [Convention date]. 0 v e r h e a d supports.-A trollymounted winch-actuated lifting-apparatus made of articulated sections is shown diagrammatically in Fig. 1. The trolly 1 carries a winch 2 and a bottom frame-section b. An intermediate frame-section g with lugs 4 at each corner is placed horizontally in position, pivoted by a bolt 5 to wider spaced lugs 3 on the section b and then hoisted to a vertical position by the winch rope 10 and bolted in position. The top section j is similarly erected and the appliance is then ready for use. The number of sections used mav be varied and the trolly may be replaced by a fixed base.
