Abstract

1,227,799. Dishwashing machines. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. 15 Nov., 1968 [24 Nov., 1967], No. 54327/68. Addition to 1,227,798. Heading A4F. In a dishwashing machine of the parent Specification the left and right upper rack sections 40, 41 are removably cantilevered from the side walls 15, 16 of the machine. The upper rack sections 40, 41 comprise thick wire frames 42, 43 mounted by pairs of upper or lower jaw sets 53, 54a and 53, 54b engaging rails 50 mounted on slide members 49 slidably mounted in the jaws 47 of plastics lined brackets 46 attached to the side walls 15, 16. The racks can be supported at different heights by rods 58, 59 resting hooks 56 and clips 57 and by the jaw sets 53, 54a or 53, 54b engaging the rails 50. In an alternative arrangement the jaw sets are attached to the rack sections, Fig. 5 (not shown).
