Abstract

1,027,001. Racks for dish-washing machines. HOOVER Ltd. Nov. 16, 1962 [Aug. 17, 1961], No. 29751/61. Heading A4F. The rack in a dish-washer is formed in two tiers, the upper tier 18 being pivoted so that it may be hinged upwards when empty to allow access to the lower tier 17 from above. The tier 18 is hinged by the rail 25 and hook 33 to the shorter of the two side pillars 19 of the lower tier 17. In a further embodiment the top tier may be in two sections, are pivoted to each of the side pillars 19.
