Abstract
1,224,584. Pens for recording instruments. ZUSE K.G. 15 July, 1969 [4 Oct., 1968], No. 35635/69. Heading B6P. A draughting machine is provided with a plurality of tubular drawing pens for drawing lines of different widths, each pen having the same diameter stem 10 so that it fits a stem holder 8 attached to the drawing head 4 of the machine. The plurality of pens may be mounted in a turret (Fig. 4) so that each pen may be brought into alignment with the stem holder 8. In Fig. 3, the pen 7 fits into a sleeve 14 in the drawing head 4. A cap 15 with a spring 16 urges the pen into contact with the paper 2. The upper end of the pen is located by a nut 17 and the stem 10 is located by the stem holder 8 directly attached to the head 4.
