Abstract
1,222,125. Pocketed reversible trousers. A. S. CHUJFI. 3 May, 1968 [8 Nov., 1967], No. 21057/68. Heading A3V. [Also in Division E2] Pocketed reversible trousers are formed of a material finished on both surfaces, and having at least one pair of pockets 56, 58, Fig. 6, of substantially the same size and shape attached by common seaming to both opposite sides of the trouser material. The trousers comprise back and front panels 22, 24, 30, 32, Fig. 8, sewn together at 48, 50, 68, 82, Figs. 3, 8, and along the seat 26 and crotch 34, a pair of outer patch pockets 52, and a corresponding pair of inner patch pockets such as 54, Fig. 6, a sliding clasp fastener 38, Fig. 3, with inner and outer pull tabs 40, 42 and a waistband of the same material as the panels. Fastening means 94 separately connect opposite ends of the waistband at the top of the sliding clasp fastener. The trousers are preferably made of a woven fabric, plain on one side and printed on the other, structural appearance of the trousers is virtually unchanged by reversing them. Rear pockets (98), (100) and belt loops (102) can be similarly duplicated (Fig. 9, not shown). The upper portion of each rear panel can be formed in two parts for convenience in manufacture (Fig. 9, not shown). Rivets 104, Fig. 3, are used to reinforce the pockets.
