Abstract

[Also in Division A4] A wall-mountable heater assembly comprises a generally flat, rectangular heater 1, a plurality of mounting members secured to the heater, each mounting member having a web 2a fixed to the rear surface of the heater and four rim portions 2b carried by the web parallel to and at a spacing from said surface, the length of each rim portion being parallel to an edge of the heater, and a similar plurality of co-operating members 4 which in use are secured to a wall on which the heater is to be mounted, the co-operating members being shaped such that at least those rim portions which are downwardly projecting in a desired position of the heater releasably engage with the co-operating members to hold the heater in position on the wall. The member 4, as shown, is L-shaped one limb being apertured to receive screws by which it is fixed to the wall and the other having a slot which is engaged by the rim 2b of the member. In one form the slot is T- shaped so that the parts of the rim on opposite sides of the dished central portion of the member are engaged in the slot and in another form' the slot is rectangular in cross-section so that only the lower portion of the rim is engaged with it.
