Abstract
1,216,665. Ventilators. AIR DEVICES, Inc. 20 Dec., 1967, No. 57842/67. Heading F4V. An air diffuser has a barrel portion 20 pivoted on two bolts at the ends of its longitudinal axis and two rows of vanes F that can be set to deflect the air in a criss-cross pattern. Deflector plates 250, Fig. 5 (and 260, Fig. 9) are fitted at the ends of the slot between walls 23 and co-operate with the vane at each end. A central wall 60 separates the two rows of vanes. Each pair of vanes is pivoted on a rod G and there is a bead 33, Fig. 5, at the free end of each vane.
