Novel peptides H-D-ser-tyr-ser-nle-glu-hisphe - arg - try - gly - lys - pro - val - gly - lyslys - lys - lys - pro - val lys - val - tyr - pro- (OH or NH 2 ) and the corresponding compounds containing the glutamine residue instead of the glutamyl residue and their acid addition salts, functional derivatives and complexes are prepared by methods known per se in the peptide art. Intermediate peptides and amino acids isolated are H - Nle - OCH 3 , BOC - Ser - Nle - OCH 3 , H - Ser - Nle - OCH 3 , BOC - Tyr - Ser - Nle- OCH 3 , H - Tyr - Ser - Nle - OCH 3 , BOC - DSer - Tyr - Ser - Nle - OCH3, BOC - D - Ser- Tyr - Ser - Nle - NH - NH 2 , BOC - D - Ser - Tyr- Ser - Nle - Glu(OtBu) - His - Phe - Arg - Try- Gly - OH, H - Lys(BOC) - Pro - Val - Gly- Lys(BOC) - Lys(BOC) - Lys(BOC) - Lys(BOC)- Pro - Val - Lys(BOC) - Val - Tyr - Pro - OtBu, Z - Val - Tyr - Pro - NH 2 , H - Val - Tyr - Pro- NH 2 , Z - Lys(BOC) - Val - Tyr - Pro - NH 2 , HLys(BOC) - Val - Tyr - Pro - NH 2 , Z - Val- Lys(BOC) - Val - Tyr - Pro - NH 2 , Z - Lys (BOC) - Lys(BOC) - Pro - Val - Lys(BOC) - Val- Tyr - Pro - NH 2 , Z - Lys(BOC) - Pro - Val - Gly- Lys(BOC) - Lys(BOC) - Lys(BOC) - Lys(BOC)- Pro - Val - Lys(BOC) - Val - Tyr - Pro - NH 2 and the N-unprotected peptides corresponding to the previous three protected peptides.
