Abstract
1,215,818. Securing stator coils. DYNAMICS CORP. 29 Feb., 1968, No. 9802/68. Heading H2A. A dynamo-electric machine stator has secured to each end of a field structure 11 comprising a plurality of laminated annular rotor-receiving magnetic layers, a flat rigid end-plate 13, 15 of the same configuration as the layers and from which extend axially outwards integral coilreceiving shroud plates 17, 19, 21 whose major faces are arcuate about the annular layer axis. The plates may be of low carbon steel thereby to constitute the structure end layers, and one coil 25 is shown secured thereby.
