Abstract

1,214,066. Edge connectors. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. 21 April, 1969 [16 July, 1968], No. 33854/68. Heading H2E. An electrical edge connector comprises an elongate body 1 of insulating plastics, e.g. diallyl phthalate, and end pieces detachably engaging the end portions of the connector body 1, one at each end, by virtue of the resilience of the engaging portions, i.e. lip 12, wings 13, 14 of each end piece, which includes a base 8 and an aperture 9 for mounting purposes. Coplanar flat portions 11 on each end piece abut against an end face of the body 1. The end pieces are made of resilient synthetic plastics, e.g. nylon.
