An axial flow combine harvester in which crop is fed through a cowling, at the front of a tubular casing 21, to a rotor for separation as described in Specification 1,193,697 is characterized by impeller blades 64 attached tangentially to a hub at 66 and having a scoop portion 70 inclined in the direction of rotation.
