1,213,153. Joint-making packing; pipe joints. NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL CORP. 11 Aug., 1967 [11 Aug., 1966], No. 21410/70: Divided out of 1,213,152. Headings F2B and F2G. The subject-matter of this Specification is substantially the same as that described in Specification 1,213,152, with respect of Figs. 7-10, but the claims are concerned with a seal formed of two resilient strips, of which at least one is curved in cross-section, having between them a mass of visco-elasfic plastics material, the mass exposing two surfaces which can be brought into sealing engagement with the elements between which the seal is to be formed.
