A light-sensitive silver dye-bleach silver halide emulsion layer contains a yellow bis-azo-dye of the formula I: in which R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxy, acylamino, ureido or alkyl ureido group; R 2 represents a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl or alkoxy group; and X represents carbonyl or the acyl group of a saturated or olefinically unsaturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having preferably up to 12 carbon atoms, or of an aromatic (especially benzone) or heteroaromatic dicarboxylic acid such as pyridine dicarboxylic acid or furan dicarboxylic acid. Many examples of the dyes of the formula I are given.
