Abstract

1,210,068. Folding doors. BOLTON GATE CO. Ltd. 6 June, 1968 [8 June, 1967], No. 26429/67. Heading E1J. In a folding door with shutter leaves 10 adapted to be enclosed within a recess 12 when the door is in the open position. The door leave system, having a lattice assembly consisting of fixed picket 14 and slidable pickets 15, 16, 17, has a plate 19 adapted to obstruct or completely close the entrance of the recess 12 when the door is at least partially closed and is allowed to move, as by stops, not shown, only so far as is necessary for the plate 19 to close off the recess. As shown the plate 19 is fixedly supported on two pickets 16, 17 adapted to move together and divides the door into two portions one of which comprises the fixed picket 14 and two pickets 15, 16. The other comprising the part to close the opening. Dust excluder strip 20 is provided between the edge of plate 19 and the recess wall 12.
