Abstract

1,208,197. Labelling machines. JOHANN WEISS MASCHINENFABRIK UND APPARATEBAU G.m.b.H. 11 Dec., 1968 [22 Dec., 1967], No. 58928/68. Heading B8F. A machine for labelling conical or cylindrical articles 15 has a conveyer belt 1, for feeding articles to a labelling station, adjustably tiltable so as to bring the adjacent faces of the article and a labelling cylinder 17 parallel. The conveyer is supported at either side by rails 14, 29, and the rail 14 has a recess 26 accommodating a vertically adjustable rail 4 by which the conveyer belt is tilted at the labelling station. The rail 4 is adjusted by screws 6 which are axially fixed but rotatably mounted in sleeves fast with the rail 4 and screw-threadedly engage fixed members 13. A stationary sponge plastics pressing member 24 is adjustable about a pivot 23 and lockable in its adjusted position.
