927,691. Packaging. ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH) Ltd. May 6, 1960 [Feb. 23, 1959], No. 6079/59. Class 94(1). [Also in Group XXX] Bottles are orientated prior to wrapping with their labels in a desired position by being carried by an intermittently moving conveyer 12 beneath photo-electric scanning means 29. Discs 16, 23 advance and engage the bottle at the scanning position to rotate it and the scanning means reacts to the label 31 to stop the rotation. The conveyer comprises a series of cradles having bottle supporting rollers 14. The invention may be applied to the apparatus described in Specification 879,201.
