Abstract

A yarn feeding arrangement for feeding elastomeric yarns in a multified circular knitting-machine comprises an endless driven belt 6 which is pretensioned as at 9, 10 and is continuously driven by a drive 11 at a constant speed and so partly lapped about each of the supply bobbins 1 at each feeding station to ensure that the bobbins are each rotated at a constant peripheral speed to feed their yarns to the needles of the machine.
