[Also in Division H3] A logic circuit (see Division H3) uses a transistor having a base 13, a collector 18 (used as an emitter) and a plurality of emitters (used as collectors), the base and emitters also forming lateral transistors with emitters 15. The transistor is formed on an N-type collector region 24 having an N+ connection, 19 is the base and 23 are the main emitters having connections 10, 11, 12. The lateral emitters 22 surround the main emitters 23. The resistor 16 and the input transistors 4, 5 and 6 are formed in the same substrate.
