Abstract

1,206,317. Heald shaft connecting cords. STAUBLI & CO. GEB. 11 March, 1968 [6 Nov., 1967], No. 11693/68. Heading DIE. A connector between a dobby cable 2 and a heald frame hook 18 comprises a member 1 of synthetic plastics having a slot 5 and a clamp 6 for coarsely adjusting the length of the cable and a screwed rod 11 for finely adjusting the height of the frame. The clamp 6 is acted on by a screw 7 cooperating with either the connector itself or a plate 8 and the rod 11 is secured by a nut 14 having grooves acted on by clips 15 to prevent undesired rotation of the nut. When the nut 14 is turned to adjust the height of the frame the rod 11 is prevented from rotating by clips 16 acting in grooves in the rod.
