Abstract
1,206,224. Circuit assemblies. KABEL-UND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE A.G. 10 April, 1968 [11 April, 1967], No. 17328/68. Addition to 1,188,568. Heading H1R. [Also in Division H2] In a device for electrically connecting two sections of communication cables, the capacitors and/or Pupin coils necessary for balancing purposes, and optionally active components, e.g. amplifiers are incorporated by interrupting the conductor paths and inserting the element. As shown, the interconnection between the printed conductors 42 joining the cable conductors and 41 leading to the measuring and testing devices are in the manner of a cross-bar distributer, and capacitors 44, 45, loading coil 43 and amplifiers 46, 49 are plugged into interruptions in conductor paths 42 at locations lying between lines 48 and 49. To this end the plate may be constructed in three parts 51, 52, 53 with the conductor paths formed at 54, 55, the part 52 being exchangeable. Instead of a plurality of superimposed boards 40, a single board folded "concertina-wise" may be used.
