A scaffolding framework element comprises tubes 1-3 arranged in a triangle, tube 1 having terminal spigots 5 and 6 for engaging like elements which are laterally adjacent and below, respectively, or base-plates below, and tube 2 carrying a welded-on end plate 4 with an attached socket 8 for receiving spigots on a laterally adjacent element and the one thereabove.
