Abstract

1,203,137. Clips. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. 3 April, 1969 [4 April, 1968], No. 16298/68. Heading E2B. A resilient clip 10 for attaching a pin 22 to a panel 23 formed with a plurality of slots 24 comprises a base 11 adapted to carry the pin, an arm 14 projecting from one end of the base and having an end portion 15 adapted to project through a slot 24 in the panel and press resiliently against the undersurface of the panel and two tongues 16, 17 projecting generally in parallel from the opposite end of the base, each of which is adapted to engage against an edge of a slot 24a, 24b in the panel to secure the clip to the panel in cooperation with the arm. As shown, two lugs 20, 21 snap engage the rim of slot 24 to resist withdrawal of the clip. In another arrangement, Fig. 6 (not shown), the tongues 16, 17 are replaced by tongues (31) each formed with or prong (32) which permit snap engagement of the tongues (31) with the slots 24a, 25b.
