Abstract

1,202,088. Lifts. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. 12 Oct., 1967 [13 Oct., 1966], No. 46578/67. Heading B8L. To facilitate the installation of a lift in a building, front walls of the shaft with doors mounted therein and supporting guide rails are installed as prefabricated units and secured to the floors of the building. As shown, wall elements 2 are secured to the floors 1 and pivotally support frames 5 on which are mounted guides 4. The frames 5 also support an enclosure, such as steel wire netting, around the shaft. For hydraulic lifts, the frames 5 support the hydraulic rams. An alternative method of mounting the wall elements and guides is illustrated in Figs. 2, 3 (not shown).
