Abstract

1,200,766. Valves. HYMATE GESELLSCHAFT FUR HYDRAULISCHE AUTOMATIK m.b.H. 11 Aug., 1967 [12 Aug., 1966], No. 37054/67. Heading F2V. A pressure regulating valve for controlling the pressure downstream of a nozzle 1 connected to a source P1, which pressure is fed to an apparatus connected to an aperture 14a, has a piston 2 formed with a groove 22 for connecting the inlet 20 to an exhaust outlet 21 and movable under inlet fluid pressure communicated from the lower end to the piston-rod end of the piston via a passage 3 formed with a restriction 3a, the net upward pressure being opposed by spring or electromagnetic force on plunger 4b. The piston-rod 2a is connected with clearance in the bore 7 of the piston to accommodate any misalignment between casing bores 8, 9.
