Abstract

1,198,361. Powder-type fire extinguishers. WALTER KIDDE CO. Ltd. 13 Jan., 1969 [11 Jan., 1968], No. 1748/68. Heading A5A. A fire extinguisher comprises container 11 divided by flexible bag 34 (or 34a) into chamber 36 for powder 12 under pressure, and chamber 37 for an incompressible liquid, the latter being connected with tube 28 and port 27 to a pressure gauge 17 visible from the exterior of the container. The pressure gauge may be constructed as described and claimed in Specification 1,119,939.
