1,198,314. Differential gear oil. BRITISH PETROLEUM CO. Ltd. 13 Aug., 1968 [15 Aug., 1967], No. 37381/67. Heading C5F. A limited slip differential gear is lubricated with an oil containing up to 15% by wt. of sulphurized oleic acid dissolved therein. The oil may be a mineral oil and may also contain an E.P. additive, e.g. zinc dialkyl dithiophosphates and a polymethacrylate pour-point depressant.
