[Also in Division F1] A heat exchanger for preheating combustion air in a gas turbine plant comprises a casing 87 containing tubes 83 through which the air passes from an inlet 29 to an outlet 32. Turbine exhaust gases enter the casing 87 through an inlet 31 and flow over the tubes 83 before leaving through an outlet 84. Non-return valves 85, 86 in the air and exhaust gas lines, respectively, prevent backflow.
