A locking member 18 for preventing the squared end of gooseneck fitting 5 being slid out of the boom fitting and thus locking the boom against rotation, is provided in the form of closed members also acting to cover the gap formed when the boom is pulled away from the gooseneck to allow it to be rotated for reefing.
